There is a ceramic decoration technique called "suminagashi" (ink marbling) that looks like ink has been poured and flowed over the surface.
Using his own unique technique, which is an adaptation of this method, the artist creates flowing, dynamic patterns on flattened clay.
The exterior has a tactile, earthy feel, and the flowing patterns stand out beautifully against the white glaze.
With its faceted shape, it's easy to hold, and it's a tea bowl rich in appealing features, from its form to its patterns.

*Please allow approximately two weeks for the wooden box to be made.

*Each item is handmade, so there may be slight variations in size and shape. Please enjoy these unique characteristics as a hallmark of handcrafted work.
