Tokusa is a plant that grows straight toward the heavens.
Because of this appearance, it symbolizes the wish for people to also grow straight and tall, and because tokusa (horsetail) was used to polish gold, it also carries the meaning of increasing one's financial luck.
This auspicious traditional pattern has been reimagined with a cute, Japanese-modern flair. It complements both Japanese and Western-style dining tables beautifully.
